Olympics, First the Opening and Now Men Punching Women - Do you fit in or do you belong?

I am always saying, be a bold Christian.  Be bold, speak up when you see wrong doings.  It doesn't matter if there is controversy or woke mob culture.  Silence is equal to agreement.

I take so much comfort in scripture.  I know from scripture that I am not of this world.  There is a reason we feel apart and we do not fit in.  Fitting in requires change, compromise to fit yourself into what others or society wants you to be.  Those who follow Christ, put Him first.  We know we are loved, we were created in His image.  Our God gives us unlimited and unconditional love.  We belong to Him, to the Kingdom.  When you belong you do not have to change to be loved or accepted.

Imagine if our children were taught they belong.  Imagine if they had confidence in themselves because their Creator designed them.  Removing God from schools was a horrible mistake.  The absence of God created a void that was filled with woke culture.  This insecurity being perpetuated in the schools that no one knows what gender you are, you can choose.  And in doing so, maybe, just maybe you will fit in.  It is abusive at its core.  This abusive environment is no place for children.  Our greatest accomplishment as adults is to protect, care for and nurture our children.  My heart hurts for all kids being exploited in this way.  Their innocence is being used against them.  Their vulnerability and their desire to belong is being used against them.

If speaking up about this makes some people angry, I'm fine with that.  If it makes some people say hateful things to me, I am ok with that.  If it makes me feel like an outcast, I can live with that.  What I cannot live with, is saying nothing when I see children being used, hurt, mutilated and lied to.  

I heard John Rich interviewed by Tucker Carlson.  He said his father, for 35 years, preached on a corner during Mardi Gras.  Spit on repeatedly, year after year.  John asked his father why do you do it?  His father said that there is always one.  He might come home covered in spit, but there is always one person who comes up to him.  One person, to preach the gospel to. 

The Olympics opening ceremony was abhorrent.  It was blasphemous for followers of Christ.  A mockery of Jesus and his last supper before he was crucified.  The opening ceremonies were not family friendly to put it mildly.  Sexual content has no business being part of the opening ceremonies that is supposed to be about elite athletes.  

If we were not disgusted collectively by the opening, we need to be disgusted by the two male athletes competing in women's boxing.  Men in a ring, beating and hitting women as hard as possible in the face.  Women who are elite, at the top of their sport.  Trained to be the best in their field.  Their field is Women's Boxing.  How can anyone believe this is ok.  Cheering on a man beating a woman?  

Choose not to fit in.  Please.  For your own sake, choose to belong.  Christ knows you by name.  He loves you.  You belong.  Claim your place in the Kingdom of God.  Raise your kids knowing how they were planned from the start.  God's design created you and this beautiful world we are living in.  Our Creator wants to know us, He desires to have a relationship with us.  Our heavenly Father is forgiving.  All we need to do is repent to Him, and accept His embrace.
