New Website and a redo from 2018
A lot has changed since I first launched Joyful Creations Canada! Originally I began with my son Brady, we created together, went to craft shows together and enjoyed meeting so many people especially around Christmas time.
It will be 6 years in December since I launched joyfulcreations.ca
2020 and the shutdown of small business and our way of life was a very hard time for me and my son. It was a time we were excited for. 2020 was going to be a big year for us. I had booked all the big sales shows, I was stocking a crazy amount of jewelry. Making making making! My son was a dancer, and was set to compete for World Of Dance! Our flights were booked, car rental arranged, Hotel confirmed. Costumes planned, choreography ready, dance bag packed. Then about 1 week before the flight our whole world dropped out. We could no longer go, the event was cancelled, and we were forced to stay home and do nothing.
I know we were not the only people - it was literally everyone who had their lives implode. It did not make it easier though, because we were all kept apart. We could not share time together, with friends or family. So we sort of lost our minds for a while. I know we did not handle it well. I felt desperate, my son felt depressed. Everything we were preparing for for years was taken away from us.
We tried a lot of things since then. We have had some decent adventures! We have met a lot of great people. This year, 2024 we have gone back to our roots in a way. But really we planted a new tree, a new cutting from those old roots. My son is no longer dancing, he is a carpenter. I am creating again, but with a better focus.
When my government took away my freedom I learned a lot about who I am. I am a follower of Christ first and foremost. I will no longer be quiet and bashful about my Faith. Just like the song says - we were born for these days! The narrow road is not meant to be a silent journey. We are called to be BOLD! We are called to SHARE Christ with the world. We are called to be an EXAMPLE of someone who has sinned but is SAVED by the blood and sacrifice of JESUS.
My grateful heart is beating for Jesus. My grateful heart is full of love for this amazing world God created. My grateful heart is overflowing with love for my family. My grateful heart is beating stronger than ever and is focused on sharing Jesus with others.
Please allow me to share with you the gospel if you have not heard it. Message me, I want to connect. If you are shy, please read the Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Continue with reading Acts, Corinthians, Romans... The Bible is our guidebook to live the GOOD life. God loves us, He wants to know us, He wants us to LOVE and be LOVED.
